๐ CultureMee: Global Youth Travel Awards Winner ๐
CultureMee has been announced as a winner of the Global Youth Travel Awardsย in the category “Best Travel Technology Product”!
The Global Youth Travel Awards is run by the World Youth & Student Travel Conference who are the only global not-for-profit membership organisation representing the entire youth, student and educational travel industry. Their members are the leaders in youth travel across the world.
The 2018 Global Youth Travel Awards (GYTAs) was hosted as part of this yearโs World Youth and Student Travel Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Dee Lee, CEO of CultureMee, said:
“This means so much to John and I to be recognised by theย Global Youth Travel Awards.ย Doing any start-up is full of highs and lows, and the last few months have given us real confidence in what we are doing with CultureMee.ย Our vision is to open people’s eyes to other cultures, the inspiration for which actually came from our time backpacking.ย So to be announced as a winner in these awards representing the entire youth, student and educational travel industry is a major step in our journey, on top of earlier this year being a finalist in the National Start-up Awards of Ireland.ย We’d like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has been part of the journey with us so far, from people who have checked out our app to people who have shown their support on social media.ย A special thank you to all the friends, family and mentors who have been there for us along the way.ย Congrats to all the other category winners, as well as the other category finalists in our category, Travello App and World Around Me, both fantastic travel apps themselves (a special mention to Travello app who won a different category).”
